Get Started With Second Signal

It's easy to get started with Second Signal. There are a few steps in the process, and of course we'll need to set up the software on your end. If you're in a hurry, we can have you up and running in just a few hours.

Don't know your dispatch tones? That's ok. Our software can figure them out for us. Here's the process in a nutshell.


You can be live with Second Signal Very Quickly

If you've already got a personal computer, a scanner, and an internet connection, we can have you up and running in just a short time without any long term obligation. We're confident that once your membership tries our service, they'll want to stick with it.

1. Get in Touch With Us

Give us a call at (888) 250-2714. We know you have questions, lets get them answered.

When you're ready, we can allocate a phone number on our side and go over the things you'll need on your side in more detail.

2. We'll Set Up the Software

We'll give you the software (and help you set it up) if you decide to use your own PC and Scanner, or preload it if you order one of our kits.

The kits aren't the cheapest way to go, but we think they'll save you time and money if you stay with us for more than a few months. So far, nobody has ever left us.

3. Paperwork

Don't worry, there is no long term commitment. We just have to make the insurance companies and lawyers happy. Our paper work is mostly about liability and privacy. You get to keep both.

4. We Give You a Phone Number

Allocating your phone number usually just takes a few minutes. Once you have that number and we've programmed our software to recognize the sound of each of your dispatch tones, you're up and running.

5. Start Logging in and Using The System

We have some printable instructions you can give to your members to help get everyone in the system. We also have some business card sized cheat-sheets for the touch tone system that lets members move forward and back among calls from their phone.
