Due to AT&T announcing that they no longer support email to sms messages as of June 17, 2025, we have ended our service. Our system used this service for all notifications to users on the AT&T network. This included mobile subscribers of AT&T, FirstNet, and Cricket. As a result, notifications stopped working at that time for a substantial number of Second Signal users.

While there are alternatives to send notifications to mobile users on these networks, transitioning to these alternatives would have require us to nearly double our subscription pricing. Second Signal was designed to be a low cost solution to volunteer and call responder fire departments. Our customers do not have the budget to continue service as twice this cost.

We deeply regret the loss of this valuable service.

All subscribers who pre-paid for services beyond June 1st, 2025 have been refunded the portion of services for any period after that time.
