It's Payback Time at Second Signal

Second Signal is ready to grow. We could spend a ton of money on advertising, but we'd rather pay firefighters. That's why we've set up this referral program.

Bring a department to Second Signal and you make $200.

It really is that simple. We don't think there is anyone more qualified to explain what Second Signal does than a firefighter.

If you've ever sat at work listening to radio traffic or calling your dispatch center to find out if a call is worth driving home for, you're more qualified to help us sell this system than people who have not.

If you've crawled down a dark hallway listening to muffled radio traffic over the crash and roar of a structure fire, you're more qualified to help us sell this system than people who have not.

How the program works

  • Eligibility

    Active or Retired Firefighters, Fire Officers, EMS First Responders, Dispatchers, & Department Administrators are all eligible. This includes "Driver/Operators" (sometimes called Engineers), and truckies if they can participate without breaking anything.

  • What do I have to do?

    All you have to do is bring a department to Second Signal. If at the time the paperwork is done and the department starts paying for the service they tell us that you brought them to us, we'll write the check.

  • What if it's my department?

    That's great! We're glad to have you. Now, where can we send that check?

  • Can we bring in more than one department?

    Yes, of course you can. We want to put Second Signal in every department across the country. If you're part of that, we're happy to write you a check.

  • Is this a kickback?

    If writing you a check would violate an ethical boundary, we're happy to write that check to the charity of your choice.
